Helen Arthur lives and works in Longtown, Herefordshire, just over the Welsh border. She returned to her love of art‑making six years ago, in her early forties, beginning with printmaking and life drawing before expanding into mixed‑media landscape painting.

Helen has always felt a deep connection to landscape and the natural world . She is particularly drawn to creating linocut prints of British wildlife, with trees also a recurring subject in her work. Her personal mantra - “Inspired by nature, covered in ink!” - captures both her passion and her playful approach to making.
